if youre able to land on the rocks I'm sure you'll have a good chance of dying. But a fall from that height into water has a low percentage of death. The impact won't for sure kill you and you'll most likely be rescued

I definitely haven't thought about jumping, but a little woodpecker told me that going down the falls in a barrel is a very exciting activity to do there. There are even people in yellow raincoats cheering you on. It would be a nice memory if you survive.

In my countless hours scouring the internet for varying experiences with and perspectives on suicide, I came across an article from a woman whose mother jumped to her death at niagra falls. Her mother allowed her stepfather to rape her repeatedly when she was younger. Over time, they were able to air things out and rebuild a functional relationship. But, the mother was in so much pain, full of so much guilt that she let it happen and for so long was in denial about it. I guess it eventually overwhelmed her. It was a really well written article filled with a lot of emotion, I wish I could find it.
