Omg!!! Such a great idea!!! It's almost as if Dr. Gullotin never ever considered the proper blade geometry. I will say again that these threads about building guillotines are stupid and populated by a mix of people who would love to see the outcome, people who use a pie in the sky Rube Goldberg approach as a justification why their perfect method is unobtainable, and....very intelligent people.
These threads are stupid, as a car, rope, and tree is a much more practical method that has been used by people in non-fantasy land.
