In what way aloof? Not social?
If you are talking about not being social, out spoken, quiet or cold then I can relate and I personally don't think it's bad but overall it is negative because this world was not made for people like me. I love being alone and just doing my hobbies. I don't like human interaction and I don't ever feel like leaving my apartment but I'm forced to because of the stuff. It's one of me reasons for ctb because I know I won't be able to survive in this extroverted world based on human interaction, social connections etcYep insanely and this makes it hard to participate in the conventional workforce. I could not function in an environment where i had to make nice with corporate people and do things like pretend to care about NFL, etc. The way i found around it was to find a job i could do alone.
