just found out im a covert narcissist, which checks out. I always had an inkling of this being true, but i never wanted to accept it. Anyone else like me here in this community? How are you dealing with things. If youre borderline, feel free to chime in too if you want, since NPD and BPD are similar in a few ways, maybe i can relate.

There are a lot of Cluster Bs on SaSu so this post is like dropping a bait hook into a school of fish. I haven't met any Histronics yet, though.

Hahaha im happy to hear there are others like me then. Understandably, i think the stigma makes people not want to discuss their issues openly. I dont feel like there are a lot of ASPD or NPD people here openly besides you, maybe im wrong though, im not super active

I strongly suspect NPD, though I'm not diagnosed. What initially led me to considering CTB was going into narcissistic collapse which lasted for a few months, I'd say it's still lingering now. The feelings are definitely much less strong/urgent, but they're still there

Someone recently made multiple threads about their ASPD, and I've met multiple narcissists that are open about it, though usually not to the extent to put it in their bio or make an AMA thread 😅 Those with BPD are extremely common, though. I've seen multiple vent threads by borderlines.

I also know of at least two people on here with PDs in different clusters. I think being open about it varies. Some won't mention it, some only mention it in more secluded parts of the forum, some only mention it on threads that pertain to the topic itself, some mention it frequently, and some are completely open about it.

girl with aspd here. I used a more hedonistic approach where I have fun and if feel that i'm done i'll just check out whenever I want, or if things get bad enough. People can feel bad about it, people can cry but once you're dead your brain doesn't work to know about it anyways.

I don't get why people aren't open about it. It's a forum for mental illness but I guess it get that there's stigma but it's weird that i've genuinely never seen post about other cluster b personality disorders on here besides bpd besides this one and my own i wanna read about other peoples experiences with the other cluster b disorders here too :)
