It's not directly on topic so I'll post it here.

I haven't been diagnosed fully with bipolar 2 yet, however, it is the main diagnosis my psychiatric team is looking into at the moment.

For the last couple of years, or at least year and a half, I've been all over the place in terms of my mood. I'll be pretty low then spike up for a week to three or four weeks and then the big crash will come. I do have a couple to a few moths of stability between episodes also.

I'm currently in the crash and I'm extremely low, which has spurred on the urge to CTB.

From my brief time here, I've seen many people mention personality disorders such as bpd but I'm curious if anyone else can relate to the mood disorder side of things.

Yeah I have bipolar 1. I got diagnosed last year after two lenghty episodes that included psychosis that happened in the beginning of the year and middle. I was hospilized 4 times which led to my diagnosis at the end. I didn't want to accept that I had bipolar either, I actually left my house screaming one time during the episode that "I'm not bipolar I am 19" lol. I had to though because even the hospitals and my therpist tried to avoid it but it became too obvious where it was unavoidable.

I'm not diagnosed and I've never received adequate help, but I highly suspect I have Bipolar 1 with psychotic features (and possibly a personality disorder too). I used to get only really bad depressive episodes with psychosis, but then I started getting periods of extreme highs. I had my first full-on manic episode about a year ago. I lost like 3-4 months of my life deep in psychosis, convinced I was God, and spoke to fictional TV characters thinking they were real......☠️ This was right after a really bad depressive episode in which I was also psychotic in for a couple months where I stopped eating and doing basic things because I thought I was dead and was in the wrong timeline and had to kms or I'd break the universe. I have many gaps in my memory because I am always in some kind of crisis. I basically have no life. No one will get me help despite the fact that I'm obviously struggling, and I'm too scared to ask for help myself. I just feel like I'm going insane and too far gone. I probably already am.

Well im not sure there's jas been time that my mood has been over the place too. Ofc not as bad.

For example my last hospitalization in March I had a bad depressive episode which I had the urge to cbt after they adjusted my meds. After a while I was a bit too happy I guess to the point I couldnt sleep, even my psychiatrist thought it was odd then my doctor gave me lithium and for now it has been fine.

Ofc i have bpd and I've read people with that can have sorta manic episodes? Idk that's what Google said- so

Edit- my psychiatrist thought it was bipolar but then she thought it was the increase of my anti- depreseants
I hope this helps
