Discussion Anyone collect loose change in coin tins?

These are mine, i've been collecting my spare change for a bit over a year now. I've filled the one on the right and i'm getting close to filling the one on the left. I don't even know why i do it lol.

Anyone else on here collect their loose change in coin tins or has done it in the past?

These tins are a specialty in Australia, you just pop down to the local dollar store and you can get one quick smart ;).

Not a collector, too depressed to get into collecting anything sadly.

I do collect loose change and am about to use it up to pay part of the bill - never really get to collecting a lot ad bills just appear out of nowhere - uninvited!

those tins look cool I collect loose change/coins in my world bank/globe I can't find it at the moment or either I lost it

(I find it satisfying when they are filled up to the point of being too heavy or making a lot of noise so then when you dump it at a coin machine in exchange for paper money it is even more satisfying hearing them fall through the holes with the aggressive smell of nickle, copper, and zinc and maybe a hint of rust)

Back on topic, I collect loose change in random jars. One tin is full of different coins from different countries (e.g. Canadian, British, Chinese, Greek, ect.).
