I've chosen a height of over 60m with no possibility for someone else to die as i fall, though I don't know exactly how I'm supposed to face what I'm falling into. in the movies people seem to jump off standing straight from the rails, but I'm not sure how id fall with that kind of pose. Do I have to fall off fast first to reach the ground in that position or is there a way to turn or use my body? The Fall to ground time is under 4 seconds, so I'm not sure if there's much I could do in that time anyway.

You have little control on how you position yourself when falling. You can practice this method by jumping in pool like a diver would in how they land head first in a pool. You could also practice on a trampoline. Another way to jump is to fall backwards. This has you at least fall on your back which is the 2nd best position to fall on and can make it easier as you aren't looking the fall at first, lowering SI.

I think that 60m may not be high enough though I'm no expert... 🤗🌹💔

Once you step off, you will fall however air resistance and your last motion move you.

possibly, but its about 5 meters shorter than the golden gate bridge and its survivability is really small. pretty sure 5 percent survive after just the impact, with the rest only survive if theres someone around them to stop them from drowning.

The higher you start from, the harder it's going to be. It's not like jumping off the high-dive at a pool. The "stuntmen" you see on tv falling from buildings are usually only doing so from 20, 30 feet. And they've been trained how to fall to land on their backs on an airbag, or feet first into water. If you try diving head first off a building, that momentum alone will probably "roll" you over several times on your way down. No telling how you'd land. And now add air resistance to the mix which will further manipulate you on the way down. Lots of variables.

You say "face down" not "head down". If that is what you really mean, then watch some skydiving videos, to see how solo skydivers stay in a stable position on their front. Study how they position legs and arms. Also, lift your head up and look at the distant horizon; do NOT look down, or you will go unstable, and perhaps do a backflip. It's harder than it looks, and in 60m you may not have time to become fully stable. A lot depends on how you jump. If you jump feet first you certainly won't have time to achieve a stable, face down position. If you really want to master it, you would need to spend some time practicing in a wind tunnel.

If you mean "head down", then just diving, as if you were diving into a swimmng pool, would probably do it.

i would say fall on your back if possible. that way you dont really know exactly when the impact is going to come but you know its coming. I think it would be more peaceful this way. As if i fell on my front, i would know exactly when my time would come, and i think it would cause more fear and fright, id prefer my last moments to be less fear and fright. I guess it depends on what you want.

Nowadays the trend is to sit on railings and fall backwards. Can't see any flaws to that.

There's too much that could go wrong imo.
Even if it is lethal, it doesn't mean you are dead on impact.
Unless you can make sure your head is utterly obliterated, I'd be afraid to have my last moments in agony as my broken body shuts down.

I wish you no more suffering!

A tall bridge over fairly deep water. I'm trying to figure out how i could also sink to the bottom, so my body wont float up and traumatize people. its not perfect, but in theory i could check for boats and wait for them to pass first.

The impact force would take a heavy toll on my body, Another Path. If i am the unlucky one and survive the impact, ill likely be unconscious. But its still enough of a possibility id prefer to know how to land head first.
