• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I'm not referring to using Carbon Monoxide from the actual car. I know I would have to use actual charcoal/BBQ grills/etc. I just don't want to use a tent, as my car seems like a more comfortable option.

I guess I'm more interested in what I can do to ensure a CTB. Should I seal up the air vents and door creases? Should I leave a door slightly open for air flow? Should I take any specific medications before getting in the car?

Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm also interested! I hope a kind soul responds here. A link to an informative thread on this method would be nice.

I tried it this way but got discovered. It very nearly worked too.

I used a portable bbq on legs from amazon, it has a drop down tray so takes plenty of charcoal. Roughly 1.5/ 2x chimney starter worth.

If you don't have leather seats you'll need to make sure the back seat can't catch light so put your seat down or site in boot via parcel shelf. I didn't leave any doors open otherwise you'll lose CO

I didn't seal up anything. I ended up on oxygen for a couple of days to raise blood gases adequately afterwards.

I plan on using my car, I found a spot in my city where I can park, pretend to have a BBQ and hopefully head out. I'm trying to CTB sometime this week.

Here's what I bought:
- 2 Chimney Starters
- 1 Bag of Kingsford Original Briquettes
- 1 Bag of Expert Grill Briquettes
- Two Large Stainless Steel Bowls
- Two Large Foil Trays
- 1 Gallon of Water
- 4 Ceramic Tiles, about 1.5 ft wide.
- Bathroom Waste Basket
- Tylenol
- Bonine
- Melatonin

I'm going to lay down the ceramic on the floor of the car, two in the front passenger and two in the back passenger. Then I'm going to place the foil trays on top of the tiles and pour some of the water into them

Afterwards, I'm going to start the chimney starters, each one with a different brand of briquettes. During this time I'll be taking a generous amount of Tylenol, Bonine, and some melatonin. After the flame and smoke are gone I'm going to pour the briquettes into the bowls and place the bowls in the water.

Then, everything ready, lay back in the driver seat and probably watch some YouTube. The waste basket is if I need to vomit.

I'm hoping two chimney starters full of briquettes will be more than enough to knock me out pretty quick.

I guess the best method would be to go to a remote locations probably in the moutains or near the woods and do it in the middle of the night.

My car is already pretty shitty, like the music leaks even when on medium volume, so I guess I have to seal it up. There is no sign of water leakage though.

Can you tell me how many chimney, kg of coal and grills you used? Also what model is the car so I can see how big it is.

For minimum suffering, put the first batch of coal in the car, wait 10-20 min while the 2nd batch of coal gets cooked and the CO level rises and then go in the car with the 2nd batch of coal and shut the door quickly to not release too much CO out. Maybe seal up some places where you think CO can leak from, also CO is lighter than air so it floats up and make sure water does not go in the coal or it will create smoke and also make sure whatever the bowls can sustain the heat of the coals.

Also dont take melatonin and other stuff too early. Good CO level will knock you out in couple minute only.

Good luck and I hope you will get what you want. This will be my method in the future also. šŸ¤—ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹šŸ«‚

You can never use too much charcoal. It's one of those methods where more is better. If you think you're using enough, you're probably not. You'll lose a lot of CO just getting in the car. Seal the hell out of the car. Put hot containers on bricks away from upholstery. Get all coals burning red hot and not smoking and then put them in car and wait a bit for CO level to rise before going into car. A car sucks for this because of the limited room to place the hot containers.

Thank you for sharing step by step. I have looked at the carbon monoxide thread and it has helped, though having a list and everything makes it so much easier for me to put together. I hope things go to plan and you are successful in finding peace šŸ™

I am using this method very soon, I am lucky as I have a perfect size van that is very well sealed although I will tape the back doors just to be sure. I intend to use 5 to 6 kg of a mix of charcoal and briquettes. The van space is approx 6 cubic metres and from my research this should be more than sufficient.
