That would be embarrassing, but I think it's better to be seen as a "pretty boy" than a "boyish girl". Most people find pretty boys attractive, hardly anyone sees boyish girls as attractive, at least from my experience.

Well, I was called ugly quite a number of times so I'm not exactly sure the pretty factor was included in me being mistaken for a girl. But I do appreciate what you're saying.

Well if it's any consolation I have too, so I know how you feel. And judging by all the threads about looks on here, it seems many have been called ugly and consider it one of the reasons they want to CTB.

I'd say it's definitely a factor for many of us. Looks actually play quite a bit of role in how someone can experience life. But at the same time some people just want to be hurtful without cause. I'm sorry you were called that too. People can be assholes.

Thanks. I'm sorry you were too. Unfortunately, being shallow is part of human nature and appearance is the biggest contributing factor in how others will treat you in life.
