I need you to feel this

i made a similar thread a while ago but i still need some viable ideas for how to fill time, i've got like 2 weeks of fasting to do and everything gets really boring when i don't eat. i'm basically just waiting to move out on that 14th day(going to live with my bf) so i can't really get a job or anything cause i'll probably be leaving a day or two after anyone reaches out.
my days look like this:
- wake up
- play video games
- wash dishes
- sleep for 4 hours because of food insomnia

literally thats all i do. i'm depressed and weak. can someone suggest anything to give me some semblance of structure. i'm getting on my parents nerves with how inactive i am

- Puzzle books are a great time killer. Sudoku, wordsearches, crosswords etc.
- Watch a series on YouTube, maybe a game playthrough or something
- Oragami
- Buy a puzzle and dedicate time each day to complete it. Could just do 10 minutes if it's taxing
- Start a voice journal. Do a voice recording each day talking about your day, your feelings, what you look forward to, anything really
- Make time in the morning or evening to do a bit of self care (if you don't already) A simple one would be to put on some nice moisturiser

All these might be a good start. I'm in a bit of the same loop atm but the above have helped me in the past to break some of the monotony.

Well, what are your interests? It's still warm out in most places to get outside. Do you want to be more active? Maybe more mindful?

If you got an ed i'd recommend checking EdTumblr, it's a very sweet and caring community and pretty entertaining too (there's also edtwt but it's much more savage over there lol)

The best way to kill time is with a katana.
Seriously though, there's lots to do, but I will repeat @ChobaniFlipSmores and say go outside. Go for a walk somewhere, through a park maybe. Go to the library and sit there and read if you really don't wanna be outdoors, but the sunlight will help with your fatigue and depression.

-Journaling, writing your thoughts down without judging them
-Sudoku, or brain games, they take time and can range from extra easy to extremely difficult
-Taking a bath? Or having self-care time. Putting cream, makeup, shaving or not, doing your hair. Taking time for oneself
-Reading a book or poetry
-Playing video-games
-Going on a walk... I love walking in the forest, it's relaxing, there is no one, and I don't hear the sounds of the city
-Watching a new tv-show
-Watching a veeeeeeryyyyy long movie, I'm talking 4 hours right there
-Cooking a meal for the day, cooking a meal for today, cooking small pastries
-Spending time with your pets (if you have one), just hearing my cat purr is so therapeutic
-Trying on old clothes
-Cleaning organizing
-Talking with people, starting a conversation at the library, calling parents or texting friends

some little ideas

Thomas Edison called movies (which he had a hand in inventing) a great time waster. You might see if your library has some you can check out.

Let's have a Dark Souls speedrun competition.

Wait a min! You are trying to kill yourself by not eating? I've heard it takes about four weeks of not eating to kill yourself. If you have a bf why not have fun with him?

I agree with those who said go outside. Being out in nature, especially somewhere where there is no people. It can help to pass the time. I have very long days. It is so empty and depressing. In my case, I do not enjoy anything.

tiktok, more video games, puzzles, knitting, some other mindless hobby - i find things that require complete focus (video games and knitting are my two) help the most

Listening to music,
watching great documentaries on Netflix and YouTube
talk with long distance friends, the type of friends that you can tell your darkest secrets
Lastly but but not last my bf for one year now that stick with me during my tribulations, mood swings and not forcing me to go to malls which I despise.

Building models or painting figures (miniatures?) could be something you find out you like.

This one is different; sign up to any language exchange app, and talk with non native speakers, maybe try to help them or correct their mistakes. This helps. trust me!

Animal babies! I just got my business licence and breed reptiles and all of them are my cuddle buddies. They only like me because I'm warm tho. They get me up in the morning because my depression can make me treat myself like shit but my depression NEVER gets in the way of my animals recieving top quality care, because they are better than me

- learn a craft, like drawing or web design, or if u have the stuff on hand kandi bracelet making or crochet
- find an extreme word search (theres like one for harry potter its insane how big it is)
- buy a techdeck and learn sick tricks, u could probaly find one for mega cheap on depop or merci or something. plus the newer ones are bigger so if u have big hands it'll probably be better
- learn a dance, like a cute idol anime thing or some funky kpop routine

There are plenty of good responses. I love anything involving nature.

Anything that stimulates the intellect - reading, games like chess, go, etc., puzzles, skills - is great because progress and achievement are involved.

Try to do things that don't involve social media or rely heavily on the internet. Disconnecting, especially for long periods of time, does great wonders for the mind.

In regard to structure, it helps to work towards something. Before I completely lost it, setting goals helped me. They don't have to be lofty goals. New meals, weight/muscle/health goals, learning a skill, writing a book, gardening, and so on.

Since you'll be living with your boyfriend, maybe you could do nice things for him or help him out with errands?

Also, don't underestimate social activities. Volunteering is wonderful, and easiest of the social activities with those who have anxiety.

Baby steps . . . One step at a time!
