The thing I used to fantasise about was a huge group skydive, where nobody pulls their rip cord… if there was enough people in the group, that probably would make the 6 o'clock news headlines or the front page of newspapers. You'd still only be famous for maybe a week or something. You could even have a statement released afterwards making it into a protest for right to die laws etc. Part of me thinks it would be a fun way to go… terrifying… but fun!

without sugarcoating, you're not gonna get famous just because of killing yourself and drawing devil 666 pentagrams — which im quite sure you don't know the meaning of and are just including them to be ooo spooky — in your own blood. at most, you'll be in the local news for a while, people will go "oh, sad/oh, looneys/oh, unsupervised teens". such is the nature of attempts like these.

furthermore, suicides don't ever go truly viral in the way i believe you're trying to achieve. they're a bubble almost, with people forgetting about them most immediately after the shock dissipates. anyone who's watched rorochans death for example most likely knows her from the song and then it's back to nothing. it's unlike a phenomenon, if that's what you're looking for.

yeah, but that's my point. most people who know of these suicides don't really... care, i guess? i mean that in most cases they're but a passing name, so not what the op is looking for, i think.
as for the shooters, i'd argue they're not famous thanks to killing themselves lol

Just something to consider - the cost of sanitizing the room afterward would likely be pretty hefty. There is a recent thread by a self-described ex-cop who used to investigate suicide scenes, and he said that cleaning blood is almost always very costly. The hotel could file a claim on your estate, meaning any funds or assets you leave behind to a next of kin would be used to pay for the cleanup.

Regarding becoming famous from doing that - I highly doubt painting a hotel with your blood would land you in the news or anything like that.
