Thinking of how to combat the taste/burning of SN, as I want to be as comfortable as possible, since I'll be completely alone. The drug store, cherry flavored, menthol monstrosities are really good at making me feel ~ nothing ~ in my throat and mouth, and the taste is so overwhelming and gross (but not enough to make me gag or retch) it might distract enough, and it's pretty cheap. I'd love to know if anyone has any ideas, I tried searching on the forum and wasn't able to find anything. (I'm also a scatterbrained airhead, I could have just missed it.) if there's not maybe I can be one ^^

There have been mentions of people thinking about using a cough drop or mouthwash to help to facilitate the administration of SN but I've not heard of anyone actually doing it.

SN doesn't taste so bad (just salty) and you can easily wash down the taste with just water. Trust me, I've done it. Granted, I only had 15g in a full glass of water (which was still thrice the lethal dose for my weight, just not the recommended amount).

I'm glad that was your experience, but it does not appear to be universal. There are plenty of people who have stated that their throat does really burn badly, or that the taste was awful. I have a light gag reflex so I am trying to avoid as much as possible. Thank you. <3

You can search their user on the forum to find their experience post to read about why it failed, instead of asking on an unrelated thread :)

Chloroseptic benzocaine lozenges are an interesting idea. I also imagine that nightly micro doses of SN might adapt one to the taste and otherwise increase tolerance to it so a terminal dose isn't so traumatizing. (In fact I plan on initially using SN as a sleep aid, BP reducer and for reversing high potassium.)

Ooh, that's not a bad idea either! Maybe I could include that with the almond regimen the week before ^^

I just got benzocaine mint throat spray and tested it with salt water. It really does help mask the salty taste. Well pleased with the purchase.

I tried a numbing spray before. It numbed my tongue but I could still taste things just as well as I could without the spray.

Somebody on here say that benzydamine hcl mouthwash kills something like 90 percent of the taste. Worth considering.

Exactly how do you go about ordering something "in a pharmacy"?

This is interesting. By throat sprays, are they the ones used for sore throats?
