Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

It seems to me that anti-suicide sentiments and laws are just getting worse and worse, with SN being blocked and investigated, free speech being censored and a rise in pro-life governments. Is there any actual good news with regards to suicide that's not just incremental?

No law prevents anyone from doing anything. In practice, it can prevent impulsive people, who do not know what they want, who have not delved into the complexity of the meaninglessness of existence. But no law has ever prevented so many from shortening their existence. Especially those who are fully aware of their existence.
