Can you use Metoclopramide and Domperidone together for N?

Domperidone and Metoclopramide together can potentially lead to an increased risk of side effects, both medications have similar mechanisms of action and may enhance each other's effects. They don't exactly act on the same receptor but it is still a bad idea to take the two together.

For example, if you take two antiemetics that act on the same receptor, you may get stronger anti-nausea effects but you'll experience side effects like sedation and dizziness, as well as extrapyramidial symptoms which are uncontrolled movements. In my opinion, its not peaceful and N is supposed to be peaceful but I guess you can do what you want.

Actually, domperidone and metoclopramide are acting on the same receptors (dopamine antagonist), so i don't think it's a good idea to use both. If you haven't notice any side effect using metoclopramide, go with that. Domeridone is an alternative for those getting side effects from meto, due to the fact that domperidone doesn't cross the blood-brain barrier.

I thought of that idea also . Can't afford to fail n or SN . Vomiting could cause failure
So why not take as much antiemetics as u can? Metoclopramide domperidone and onadestaron together.

But I don't know the answer . I might just do it. Why not?

Don't quote me on this this but even with medications that don't make you nauseated can still make you vomit. It's your body's defense mechanism.

It is recommended to drink a small amount of strong alcohol prior to drinking the N. Because the taste of N is very strong and some people may react to the taste.
