Alright you Sausages and Sausagettes, I came to talk games!
I love gaming, it is basically my primary way to make friends, destress and be competitive and I hate the state online gaming is in today. For the most part, it seems like the 2005-2008 time of everyone owning a mic and using it always, came and went. I drift toward a lot of MilSim games for this reason, the communities in those games still understand the importance of communication and team-based gaming. A guy can only pretend hes in Kuwait for so long before it gets boring though, I wish the same team oriented gameplay experience was easily found elsewhere, like in lighter games or even mmo's. I play Guild Wars 2, a literal Massively Multiplayer game, and the last four times I signed in I played for a few hours each entirely by myself. Zero communication with others, and that is certainly with effort.
I'm currently playing: Foxhole, Battlefield 4, Hell Let Loose, Guild Wars 2, Warhammer Space Marine 2, Any and All PC versions of Halo series, Arma Reforger, Project Zomboid, Red Dead Redemption 2, It Takes Two, Outward, Portal 2, as well as a bunch of irrelevant single player games. I'm super interested in finding new people to play these games or any of the other games I have that don't happen to be installed at this very second. I'd also like to ask for ideas for new games to play, tell me what your current favorite game is and why! I am trying to steer more toward multiplayer, but I'll accept any and all recommendations. I'm a PC Nerd Lord though, no consoles for me, I'M AN ADULT MAN, DAMNIT. If you are interested in seeing my super turbo gaming skills in action I just have to point out that:
***I AM A SUICIDAL PERSON WHO IS POSTING THIS ON A WEBSITE ABOUT SUICIDE. I recently attempted and failed, I don't have a plan today, that almost always changes by the week. It is simply a part of my life.***
I don't know how else I can state that beforehand. I've already made a few "friends" on SaSu that immediately and abruptly cut me off after I let them know that I had a posted about plan to CTB and that my planned date was coming up. This was after I had spent, on at least one case, money to buy a game to play with said acquaintance, which was mildly annoying. That game would be Portal 2. Not the most expensive game so I think I'll survive, but wasted money and whatnot. So if interacting with a "person with a plan" is not for you, I appreciate your time and I wouldn't waste it. I'd definitely like to dodge that situation again though. Definitely wasn't expecting it to happen via SaSu, but we live and we learn. Oh and I also smoke weed and act like a baboon sometimes but people always seem to enjoy it! :)
So where are my SaSu FPSers?
Where art mine SaSu MMORPGers?
Who shalt fight and die with me while I eat mozzarella sticks I stole from work earlier in the day!?
For glory brothers! I share my mozzy boys with thee!
How do you feel about the state of gaming today? Do you miss the old xbox modern warfare days of communication, or are you enjoying the comparatively silent environments that have become the norm in multiplayer today? Are you as disappointed in Bethesda, Bungie, Halo Studios (or whatever they're calling themselves today) for where they've led the gaming industry today? Do you find yourself increasingly playing older games that aren't such a let down, instead of the new, rushed, overhyped, overly-pretty but empty of substance kind of games that we get today?
Ask away for my Steam, Discord, etc. and lets get Squad Sasu goin!
