We have zero evidence that wanting to die is always, or even often, a symptom of mental illness. We also cannot prove that life is ultimately even good for people, but we do know there is high risk involved. Seems every thought that goes against the norm is labeled a mental illness.

I think it's just a waste of energy to be angry at someone who's clueless. Suicide is one of those things people don't get until they are at that point themselves. That's the way it is. Talking about suicide and hoping people will get it is like throwing a ball at the dog and hoping it won't fetch it.

They should be able to understand logic, that it should be a fundamental right, that people should have control over their own bodies and destinies, as long as they aren't intruding on someone else. One does not need silly emotions to comprehend this.
