Animes like Paranoia Agent

I haven't finished the show yet, but I know I'm gonna miss this mindfuck of a show once I do. Perfect Blue is only of my favorite movies but I think Paranoia Agent still comes out on top because of the little 'blink and you'll miss it' moments for me throughout the show.

Anyone have any recommendations for similar shows?

I've watched Madoka Magica, Serial Experiments Lain, and Higurashi.

Lain should be an obvious suggestion, but you've already watched. Paprika is also a movie by Kon, so maybe that?

In terms of shows that offer "mindfucks", maybe NGE? I haven't watched it, but I think it's sorta like that.

The mindfuck elements don't come in until a bit later on in the series. End of Evangelion is basically just one big abstract mindfuck for the entirety of its second half (it's one of my favourite movies). Still, I don't know if I would say that it's like paranoia agent. They kind of feel like two different flavours of mindfuck to me, personally.

I suppose it's more of a cosmic horror mindfuck, while Paranoia Agent is more of a paranormal mindfuck.
