Animals or humans ?

I have a huge amount of love for animals, cats, dogs, Guinea pigs , rabbits, I love them all.
Of course I don't like the awful ones like snakes and scorpions etc.
If given a choice between living on an island with a bunch of furry critters or with a bunch of humans, I'd choose to live among animals any day.

I am not sure why people idealize animals over humans. Sure humans are capable of greater evil but some animals rape, kill, even toy with smaller animals without eating them. Like cats for example.

I can love animals don't get me wrong but they are not saints regardless of their incapability of introspection. Cruelty is cruelty.

High IQ. I for one like watching crows and insects, am afraid of dogs because they can munch on my neck, but overall consider all animals inherently equal. Just biological machines.
