Brugmansia aka Angel's Trumpet

So, long story short. I need any kind of information regarding the toxicity or experience story of the plant.

As far as methods are concerned , for me , carbon monoxide is the best option to ctb. Since it's easy to get , painless death if used the proper 'pre-sedatives' , and relatively 'okay' body scenario. Of course , considering that it's done In a private place with proper signs and what not.

For me , getting proper pre sedatives is hard, so far. And after seeing the effects of trying it without a pre sedative , I'm sort of reluctant in trying it again. (Anyone interested in how it went can find my trial from last year on a carbon monoxide thread , or I could share).

Anyways , the point of this thread is...... I've recently been reading again about angels trumpets toxicity. And to be honest , although it's an easy to get / grow plant ... it's a very scary plant with very scary stories on the web. (And a possible ctb method?)

I've been growing the plant for almost a year now , and it has bloomed very well. Last week, I was feeling very shitty and I decided to give it a try (on a small amount, one whole flower). I smooshed the flower and chew until it was out of juice , but nothing happened then.

After reading more , I saw somehwere on the web that the leaves were more toxic/ hallucinogenic than the flowers . So,today, I juiced 4 medium sized leaves in a blender , and drank the whole thing.

After an hour or so , My pupils were a quarter more biger ,had a dizzy feeling , heavily slept for about half an hour (since I was already in bed) , didn't hallucinate.

I can't help but think if it is my body that is tolerating the toxicity of the amount I used , or is it that it's not as lethal as people say?

If anyone has any experience with the plant , I'd love to hear.

Also, after seeing the effect of the 4 leaves ..... I'm now going for another round with 8 leaves. (As seen on the pictures below)

First picture - chopped leaves in a small warm water mix ready to be blended.

Second picture - juiced leaves , a quarter of it in a cup.

So, I took about a half and a quarter of what was in the small cup [Second Picture]. I figured ingesting it all in would give me unwanted results since the mixture was a bit concentrated.

Results :
- My pupils are still enlarged even though it's been 11 hours. (2/4 of its usual size)
- I slept more than usual, and it seemed harder to get up from bed.
- It definitely had a "heavy-head" feeling, but without the euphoric/hallucinogenic feeling as I've read from other people's experience.
- I'm not sure if it's the mind being the mind, but I've felt numb since I took it. Numb, as if I've not exhibited emotions. not even the usual irritation.

Again, not sure if it is my body that is tolerating the toxicity of the amount I used, or that it's not as lethal as people say?

If anyone has any experience with the plant, I'd love to hear.

Doesn't seem like a peaceful death to me. I read that the symptoms include paralysis and convulsions if you take too much?
I don't think any plant method is peaceful.

Hm. At high doses you'll probably go into delirium. It's difficult to say what that feels like, but I would assume that it's a scary experience. If I understand it correctly, the cause of death is stroke, and that simply must be scary. You might fall into coma before that happens, though. All in all, I'd consider another method if I were you. I agree with @InTheAirTonight that there probably isn't any poisonos plant which will lead to a peaceful death, or a painless one for that matter.

Sometimes I feel like this forum is filled with masochists. Go look at the user-experiences on Erowid bro. Do you really want to experience something as volatile and terrifying as a fatal dose of that stuff?

I think this plant is very toxic, and it will kill you with the right dosage. Almost 20 years ago I got an Angel's Trumpet as a gift from a friend who was a professional gardener, and he warned me about its toxicity. He told me many times to be careful.

But please do not use this plant to ctb. About a year ago I did a lot of research on toxic plants and my conclusion is that, although many of them are guaranteed to kill you, dying from plant poison is very painful.

My main research was on water hemlock (cicuta virosa) and I also did some research on poison hemlock (conium maculatum). But I read everything I could find about poisonous plants and I have no doubt: Death by plant poison is extremely painful.

Looks like a really deadly pesto!

I would agree with the other responses that plant poisoning methods tend to be very unpleasant and far from peaceful.
