Help anchor point assessment for partial / full suspension

So these are the 2 anchor points i have access to. Which once so you think are okay for partial/full suspension. the one in my closet seem to hold my weight ok for partial but i never tried fully went un conscious on it
never tried the second one. Does that seem stronger or weeker? i cant afford to break these. i rent here. please help

Ooof. If you're renting it makes it kind of difficult to test worry free.

Typically one would best test the anchor point by making the noose, sticking their arm in, yoinking downwards, and using their full weight to swing around a bit. If it can handle that, then it should be able to handle the hang.

I would personally check the major points of failure (the arms holding the rod) as well as the flex in the middle as well.

It might be the picture's angle, but I don't like the slight downward curve, honestly.

Curtain rods hold curtains, not humans.
The closet rod holds a lot of weight, but dpread out over the entire rod.
With a single, heavy object, you will find it the strongest very close to the brackets at the ends. This is where it will resist sheer forces the most.
Maybe empty the closet first.

Neither of these are good for full suspension. For partial, the closet might work (I don't like the look of that slit in the wood at the left end) but, then again, partial has a low success rate in general.

You're going to have to find an anchor point outside if you end up opting for full suspension, I'm afraid.

partial having low success rate means people bail or something goes wrong like the anchor point breaks? Also any sources saying partial has low success rate?

Yeah wait why does partial have a low success rate? I tried so many times. With a steady anchor. But no matter what I do, my carotids aren't getting compressed. I've spent hours trying and I can't.

This was how I did it. No matter how much I pull , it doesn't fall off. But its not working. Not even close to losing conciousness

Both look a bit sketchy, but the closet hanger is likely okay as long as you tie the rope close to either end, and not in the middle. It seems like the way it's attached to the wall is quite secure, so it probably won't come off.

I wouldn't trust the curtain rail or its attachment points!
