Am I committing a crime?

So, I posted this thread about a SN supplier and have been handing out PMs to people with his website and whatsapp.

And i recently started thinking about this, I know people here want to commit suicide. The reason people ask me for the SN suppliers info is because they want to buy SN and commit suicide.

In other words, I am "Assisting" people with purchasing SN knowing very well, they will use it to kill themselves. So if a cop were to again access to my SS account and look at the PMs I'm sending, can i get arrested?

Am I committing a crime by sending people website addresses of SN supplier? Can i go to jail for this?

I know that ethically, I am not doing anything wrong. But is it legal?

Tough one. You are giving an email or number but it's up to that person to follow through. Not sure the legal side of it not a lawyer but end of day you are not forcing them to contact the person. Maybe delete the PMs but obviously will still be on other persons account.

Nope, you are doing nothing illegal. Actually selling someone SN is not even illegal, selling N would be illegal tho. You are just telling them sources, there is nothing illegal to it.

I sent some people a link to a seller too because they asked me where I got my SN. I think it's okay since you're not directly telling them to ctb or manipulating them ya know

Personally, I have PMd like 25 people, literally. And the chance of me getting caught by PMing seems quite low. And I think I will contunue to PM if someone asks. They might be going through hell

I think it sounds simple to say Walmart sell it, or Amazon sell BBQ equipment, etc, but most people aren't buying these things to ctb. I mean if they wanted to stop selling any product that someone could try to kill themselves with, they'd have to stop selling knives, forks, ropes, string, belts, plastic bags, and about a zillion other products.

So I suppose it would/could come down to if you suspected they were definitely going to try kill themselves and you knowingly assisted them.

I suppose it could be tricky. I don't know the answer.

Maybe word it in a way that covers yourself somehow. Or just don't put yourself in that position.

Remember that you might want to help people, but no good deed goes unpunished.

Imagine you tell someone and they ctb, their family are sadistic super rich ass hats and they decide to vent their pain at you when they get access to the persons electronic equipment.

Their case could be totally without merit, but they could make your life a living hell and cost you a fortune along the way.

Well in America it's easy to get. But in my country, its verry very difficult. I ordered 3 Sn packages. 1 of which I received. and 2 of them were intercepted by customs. so i literally got 1 package of the 3 i ordered.

I used to get really worried about this, like obsessing over the possibility of me going to jail for assisting in ctb for giving out contact info for suppliers of SN and N, in theory one could technically make a case for this in court but the chances are probably very low, and also even if it could be technically illegal I know morally it's not wrong(actually quite the opposite) so I don't lose sleep over it

I dunno about legality but isn't it against SS's tos to give out sources? Or is that only for saying them publicly, and it's ok to discuss them in PM?

it may change depending where you live, and none of us are lawyers so I wouldn't take what we say is fact but rather speculation. I personally have a lot to lose, so I wouldn't take the risk.

I'm in the same boat Rosey, so I try to be mindful of what I post because you never know.

Ultimately it's up to one's own conscience and personal circumstance as to what is acceptable for them to do.
