Yup. Even a mainstream program like History Channel's Ancient Aliens raise enough good points to prove their existence.

I've also heard about it. But my sources are telling me it will happen in 2027. Aliens love prime numbers.

I am trying really hard not to say something about ham raining down on the good people of England. Ooops, I just did.

It's raining ham, halleluia!!!

Better get my bread and butter and make a sandwhich.

We also have a town called Egham. But it's posh and aliens aren't allowed there. See, I was trying to stay vaguely on topic. For once. Kind of.

I might actually post a more serious reply to this thread tomorrow.

Like that is even a remote possibility after all this talk about ham, eggs and English weather. But, yes, by all means, do write an earnest reply. Just don't forget to put on your tin foil hat when you type it.

My only problem with Ancient Aliens, why would the government allow them to say anything?

Ancient Aliens made me realize, if you replace God and Angels with aliens then religion make sense.

I must be on netflix or of course on pirate bay :P
Well Jeremy Corbell was the maker but being suicidal adds a nice flavor of absolute nosensery to it.

Do aliens exist?

Yes. Probably.

The universe is huge. Our nearest star system is Proxima Centuri at 4.244 light years distance. It would take us something like 10 thousand years to get there, even if we could with current technology.
https://bigthink.com/technology-innovation/interstellar-travel-to-proxima-centauri
And that's next door. The rest of the universe is so unimaginably huge it's beyond out understanding. And that's just the observable universe. There's arguably more, much more out there.
If life is the natural progression of the increasing complexity of energy and matter over time, then it's not a huge jump to assume that life has developed elsewhere too.

Are we in contact with aliens?

No. Probably not. See the point about the universe being so huge above. The amount of time and energy/resources required to undertake interstellar travel even to the nearest neighbour is prohibitive. And that's assuming they could evolve their technology to the point where the journey would even be possible. Which is very unlikely due to the in-built kill switch any evolved species has due to it's ability to manipulate and thus fuck up it's environment.
And if it could avoid this feedback mechanism, survive and develop technology great enough to travel from star to star, it would take so long as to again be prohibitive. How do you maintain life support for ten thousand years? How do you supply such a huge amount of energy? How do you even guarantee that there would be life where you are going?
And beyond the nearest locations, the distances become, literally, astronomical.
But, but, but, advanced alien technology and suspended animation and warp drives!
Really? Any species likely to even have a chance of developing such sci-fi technology is more than likely to be wiped out long before it's possible by the very technological advancement that gives them the potential.

But what if it's true?

Lets consider that all that actually happens in the perfect storm, regardless of all the phenomenal restrictions and unlikelihood.
Would these pan-dimensional hyper-intelligent shades of the colour blue get in touch with the government of the USA and deal with them? Really? A species that can traverse the huge void between stars and has overcome the threat of extinction would parley with a bunch of fuckwits who haven't even got a clue how to manage their own back yard? Any species advanced enough to do that would have to also be truly enlightened so I suppose maybe if this was true, it could be possible.
Maybe. Possibly. Doubt it.

But… ancient aliens!

I've studied this. As an archaeologist and student of ancient mythologies this always fascinated me. I really wanted it to be true. I found the tales of the Tuatha De Danann amazing. Aliens! There's even the idea that human evolution has been nudged into the light by ancient alien influence.
Unfortunately, when you really study the evidence the truth is way more boring. It can all pretty much be explained by local cultural evolution and by the process of mythological telescoping. Like the King Arthur myth or the legend of Robin Hood. From an academic point of view this is actually really interesting and has huge implications for human psychology and modern religions, but the whole alien influence thing is really just saying that humans are crap and couldn't possibly have been clever enough to have invented things like the pyramids so early in prehistory.
Nah. We are really clever. Too clever by half. Clever enough to influence our environment and prolong life and increase birth rates to the extent that we are now suffering. Clever enough to make artificial intelligence and split the atom and fly to the moon in a bucket. Pyramids are no big deal. The ancient Greeks had a kind of computer. And archaeology has shown us that ancient societies were a lot more connected than we realise, a lot further back than we thought. Societies have risen and fallen, with knowledge lost and regained many times.

It's worth remembering that Intelligence doesn't equal wisdom.

All the Area 51 stuff? Who knows. I'll admit here that I could be entirely wrong. We really don't know and maybe there are aliens walking among us. I mean, have any of you been to Basingstoke?

Whoever believes in conspiracy theories of global proportions has obviously never project managed anything in their life. It's so hard to project manage 20 people, let alone a whole world.

Yes stranger things in this World, I have seen some good video's and witness statements from pilots including the military, what baffles me is why they are here, we must be the neighbours from hell. I can just imagine these super intelligent beings sitting in there flying saucer, cloaked, out in space when our astronauts dispose of their waste, they flush it out of the airlock. So I can imagine a group of ET's debating first contact when a turd lands on there window screen, I would love to see there faces, :haha: :haha: :haha:

One of the pilots said CIA agents told him not to mention it to anyone and he said why don't you just tell the people, he said it would cause panic, them knowing there are beings out there more technically advanced than us.

Oh I've heard of Bob Lazar and seen the Netflix documentary. I just hadn't heard of Jeremy Corbell before now.

As for Mr Lazar I believe strongly he did work on UFO's and reverse engineer there technolgy. I believe he finds himself on the outside looking in now, has so much trouble with authorities and been character assassinated because he blew the whistle and did not keep things secret. What also leads credence to his documentary for me it the FBI raiding his home looking for classified stuff. Hmmm why would they do that for a crank. Nah they worried he took evidence.

I firmly believe Aliens are not just real but here, in contact with differing agencies. All on the QT.

There are longer documentary's but this one is a short clip, but I wonder why they invested so much money in it and maybe a different department took over the research

The truth is out there, :haha:

We have met the enemy, and he is us (courtesy of Walt Kelly).

The aliens/angels/whatever are humans from the future. They act like us. They're not supposed to interfere (Prime Directive) but every now and then you get some teenage jerk taking a joyride and freaking out the primitives.

There are so many witnesses and documentaries, why are they here, just watching us destroy the planet, wouldn't be great if they gave us a peaceful way to CTB without N.
