I wonder if it would be painless to die from alcohol poisoning considering youll eventually pass out and die in your sleep?
I was thinking of just drinking as much 40% vodka as I can before passing out. Im struggling to get access to other methods.

I don't think it works like that.... wouldn't it at least be painful before passing out?

Im not sure. I just know id vomit a lot and probably have a headache and some stomach pain but nothing unbearable
but maybe im overlooking something?

I'd imagine it'd be relatively painless as compared to other methods, but people might still find you and put a stop to it killing you, and the resulting damage could make things worse if you don't die. Also, there was someone - not on this site, on Quora - who spoke of their sister going through with that... and had to be sedated when they got into hospital. They also didn't speak... so it's possible that you might survive, in pain, as your organs shut down - brain damage is a possibility here too -, while you're sort of forced to stick around and can't respond. It can also be a pretty undignified or traumatising way to die. Regardless of your choice, do be careful.

That does sound a bit horrifying, might aswell look for another more reliable method then :/

I've actually only ever seen it happen to young, severely underweight people, when trying to keep up with their friends during drinking.

It's far from a reliable method.

that's what i came here for, i'm 5'3 and weight 131lbs so i figured 500ml of 40% alc would get me gone relatively quickly

it's not a reliable or easy way to go, but i think it's one of the best to look accidental if that's what you're aiming for

Once, on a bad day, when I drank too much tequila, I fell into an alcohol coma and woke up about 12 hours later in the hospital. As I researched online, alcohol coma results in death in many cases. Sorry if this response is pretty pointless, but I just wanted to double this. CTB by 100% alcohol is just not worth it. Yes, it's possible, but the odds you'd be playing is Just not worth it.

If I where to have one "'"expertise"" in life, it would be alcohol. It's only use in context of CTB'ing, is making yourself impulsive and therefore, more likely to commit to **another** method you have in mind.

I hope my information/knowledge on the topic is enough for others to trust me, and if anyone has sources that says otherwise, I'd more than welcome to hear it.
