• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Interesting take on the survival instinct, and the "paternalistic command to life" ("you MUST live!") vs. the spontaneous expression of life...

Around the 21 minute mark, Watts says something that caught my attention...that when parents treat life as drudgery, their children learn that attitude. And life becomes a drudgery that we MUST perform. So that, collectively, we seem to create things like atom bombs as a form of suicide to end that drudgery. Whereas if life is NOT treated as necessary, but as a spontaneous expression, there's LESS of a drive towards suicide...something like that...
Watts: "G.K. Chesterton once said that the angels fly because they take themselves lightly."
