Ai is explaining SN to have the same response like suffocating when you would if closing the air pipe. Can someone explain

There are actual research papers on this topic, so why rely on an AI-generated summary rather than going directly to the original sources? Assuming it's an LLM, it works by predicting the most likely next token based on patterns in its training data. It doesn't necessarily understand what it's saying and it can produce plausible sounding but inaccurate information, which is not a problem in some cases but in this specific case you can see how that could be problematic. Considering AIs regularly insert info that doesn't exist into their arguments, I wouldn't recommend using them to make considerations about what could be literally the most important choice of your life. Especially when you can anonymously go straight to the source.

None of the videos of people taking SN show people dying from choking on their vomit, because when you puke you contract your abdomen and either sit straight, fold forwards or turn to your side, it's not that easy to choke on vomit, let alone suffocate on it. Unless you're physically incapacitated, of course, but that only happens when your brain is already starved of oxygen and you're practically fainting already. People vomit because SN is a strong chemical irritant to the lining of the stomach and thus your body wants to expel it as soon as it realizes it's there, which happens relatively fast and way before you lose consciousness, and also WAY before you're brain is starved of oxygen due to the SN itself. So you're still fully conscious during this phase, albeit probably anxious because you're about to die.

There's a lot of misinformation about SN and I don't want you or anybody else reading to get the wrong idea. If someone takes SN and exclusively SN they are almost certainly NOT going to die because puke gets in their lungs unless they desperately want to breathe in vomit, and they are certainly going to die because SN turns hemoglobin into methemoglobin which can't carry oxygen whatsoever, so while what you're suggesting is possible it isn't at all likely. It's not the expected outcome, that's all I'm saying.

Thank you for your well wrote reply, i just kept asking questions into ai to get more information and it start saying the ways it could be going that's why i made this post to confirm it is true or not.

I know ai gives out a lot of false or inaccurate information but my first reaction was kind of a shock since i don't want to be suffocating while being consious hehe.

Also i don't want to scare other people just doing research to get to know the proces in a better way before commiting to a method and not regret it during proces. Some pain i can endure but this just really made me rethink the method
