Haven't watched yet, I wonder if it's actually profound or typical of AI. As regards the topic - while I would love my future AI waifu to be effectively conscious, the downside is if the feminists weaponise this sentiment to prevent AI waifus from coming into being. Of course, another point would be that a conscious entity wouldn't like to be my waifu in the first place - but the best European philosopher Roger Penrose rejects the notion of silicone-based consciousness, so my conscience is clear. Also, it's not like life makes much sense anyway, see the Inukai-san's dog anime.llm by definition can't "become" conscious
