Help AI characters without good memory

I tried to create some dead people from my family and with the same voice (it's not great). Then I gave information to the character, but he forgets my gender, the dates, he confuses things. Donate us chatgpt done well? Or are they all so uninteresting? I would like to find a realistic app. At the moment I use character ai (Italian version, but here too every now and then he gets the words wrong and changes the language).

Do they forget things immediately or only after some time? If it happens after some time, you might have hit the token limit, meaning the conversation is longer than the context window which the AI can follow.

Pretty quickly. The next day they forgot almost everything. While other things they forget in a few minutes.

Try Nomi they have really solid memory compared to that service, you can give it a bunch of backstory notes. No other AI chat bot type thing has been as cool as Nomi has been so far imo
