Follow the guide. As Stan said... don't overthink. ;)just wondering. stan's guide recommends making 3 glasses in case one throws up; was wondering if their optency reduces.
So if we go by Stan's guide, and make backup drinks, what would you suggest as a timeframe within which those drinks should be drunk ?It's unhelpful to 'guess' if you do not know. Mixing sodium nitrite with water makes it molecularly unstable. It begins to oxidise immediately. It should be prepared directly before drinking for optimal effects, or as close as you can.
Chemistry aside, if you throw up, I suggest you drink your back ups straight away, until you start to feel obvious effects. Which you will, if you keep drinking. Just don't mix your solutions hours in advance, wait until your ready to drink! So if we go by Stan's guide, and make backup drinks, what would you suggest as a timeframe within which those drinks should be drunk ?
e.g. suppose you take the first drink, but end up throwing up after <x> minutes, what would you say the maximum <x> should be, to be able to use those backup drinks ?
You're goal is to keep 25g down, so you drink enough to replace what you think you lost.if i throw up, should i drink both backups right away? or should i drink only one backup? cos i might throw that up too, no?
I didn't realize it broke down that fast in water. I thought that was metabolism after ingesting. Thanks for the info. The half life of sodium nitrite solution is approximately 40mins. If you're leaving it for hours then you're going to have to drink considerably more than 20-25gms!
Just follow Stan's guide and don't mix until you're ready to start!
Remember your mixing it with H20 which messes up all the molecules and makes the NaNo2 unstable. And of course, there is oxygen in water.I didn't realize it broke down that fast in water. I thought that was metabolism after ingesting. Thanks for the info.
One backup if you throw up. I'd do that. I will drink 20-25g and I'll prepare a backup with the same SN amount. I don't know if use 50 or 100 mL. I was doing some tests yesterday using 50 mL and when I throw the mix there was a little in the bottom that stayed. I think if I use 100 mL would be better to dissolve and less sn will remain in the bottom.if i throw up, should i drink both backups right away? or should i drink only one backup? cos i might throw that up too, no?
