Method Advice for firearm suicide?

My boyfriend keeps a handgun under his mattress and he's gone for a couple hours in the morning to go to the gym. I was thinking of getting an Airbnb so I can take his gun and ctb there. I've seen some conflicting opinions on whether it's a sufficient gun and where to aim for you to die almost instantly.

nowhere will cause it to be instantaneous. i don't recc using a hand gun. that's how my uncle went out and he suffered for over 45 minutes. i'd go for something different.

This. Unlike a shotgun, attempts with handguns are much more prone to failure or can lead to permanent disability. Unfortunately the reality is never as simple as what they show in action movies.

well er anything 9mm or above into the mouth somewhere at an upwards angle is assured to kill you, most likely fast.
I wouldn't recommend doing it with someone else's firearm though because that'd cause them to have a lot of guilt.

If you haven't handled a gun you may not want to do this without some practice. Also do you know what it is?
