I don't know if this exists in your country, but in France you can fill out a form if you are unconscious against relentless therapy, against resuscitation, respiratory assistance, etc. and benefit from an important sedative treatment and against the pain which brings us until death.
it should be given to the doctor and a family member.
I gave it to my doctor and psychiatrist and just indirectly told my parents about it if I had a really bad car accident so I wouldn't leave him a quadriplegic in vegetative mode.
I will leave the writing paper at home for my parents before my death.
