Anyone have issues with taking amphetamines for ADHD at all? I keep feeling like "its not working anymore, or as long." Keep taking a little more each day to feel it working, Though in the end all I do is compulsively browse shitty sites or masturbate without getting anything I need to do done.

With amphetamines it's best to take breaks. I was diagnosed with ADHD (I'm probably just depressed though) and they seem to work best if you take em for a few weeks then take a week or two off. Or only take them 4-5 times a week.

Nowadays my ADHD is sort of under control so I take them recreationally for the most part. God forgive me I am a degenerate.

The only thing I hate about taking stimulants is the ungodly need to masturbate or bite my teeth. That is good, I've been trying for a while to get off but I feel like I can't stop or really think I can. I've just been prescribed adderall again and am noticing these feelings, but I guess I will get used to it in time. How long have you been off?

Stopped taking them once I finished high school. I think I was the class of 2018 but I can't even remember. Time doesn't exist to me anymore lol.

My brother is on them too and he's more than willing to give me his if I need to get something done or I'm bored. I'd say I take 40mg once every other month or so.

My mum put me on ADD meds when I was 10. Ritalin then concerta. Why it's not ideal to have a psychologist as a mother. Pills help solve "everything" when they just make you worse. Ended grinding my bottom back in my sleep. Had them throughout uni but always had weekends off. Didn't want to stop because I thought I wouldn't be able to focus but as soon as I cleaned up my diet and did parasite cleansing, saw a Chiro, didn't even need them. Didn't have withdrawal or anytbjng, just massive comedown for a month. They are a massive part to ruining my life. Had to get braces for the over bite after decades of grinding, which ended up messing me up greatly. Was allergic to the metal, ortho ignored it and got me stuck in a 5 year treatment. Got super sick. Everything went down hill when I got them. Not a fan of ADD meds.

I am late I guess, but many people are using memantine to undo the tolerance of stimulants.
