A Tribute To Lostnotfound

I had the honor to be present with Lostnotfound yesterday when she ended her pain. Her method was SN and she followed Stan's Guide, and was not in pain.

Lostnotfound did not want to die. However, she saw no other options. She had multiple legal issues and police investigations. There was a restraining order in place, and she was not permitted to see her children. Lost felt that she would rather die than be without her children.

Lost had two partners prior to eventually CTBing in a hotel room by herself, because they did not work out. A reminder to be careful of who you choose as a partner should you go that route.

Lost had mental health issues that didn't make things easier for her. She was also allergic to cats. We talked often about that lol.

Lost was a kind, gentle soul who was dealt a bad hand in this life and the legal system let her down. She stated that police were slow to investigate the charges against her. While she had a lawyer, she liked, she did not feel she was doing a good job of pushing the police to investigate.

May Lost have the peace now that she was denied in this life.

I had only just started to talk to her yesterday, realised we both knew the north coast of my county very well, I am gutted I didn't get to reply to her in time, though when I was speaking to her around 8pm (UK time) she didn't say she was doing that path right then, it said she was online this morning so I mailed her then, but got nothing back

really hope she is in the right place for her now where ever that may be :(

I think maybe they are just wondering how you were with her in what context, some of us are curious, in case we ever wish to have someone with us when we decide it's our time, how is it done, esp when you are an ocean apart,

It's hard when you have such things going on... when you're trapped, with no way out, no visible or perceived outcome that would help you, so you see that as the only option.

At least the stresses and problems won't follow her.

As you've stated yourself, @Lostnotfound did not want to die. The separation from her children was temporary. She's now ensured that she will never see her children again...and her children will have to live with the trauma of losing their mother to suicide. This is no cause for celebration.

I do think this is a tad harsh, I don't know her situation, but how do we know the separation from her children was temporary, even a few years can feel like a life time, I know this as I have experienced it myself.
Being apart from your children, you cannot see past that moment, you feel like the world is out to get you, everyone is against you, you can't see to the future and maybe them returning, all you can feel is the pain for now and that moment.

Let's just leave this as a tribute for her and keep personal feelings out. I mean we all have thoughts on everyone's ctb one way or another, but a tribute should be a memorial. It's sad she's gone, and I think we are all saddened especially reading about it.

But still. It's just a post for good things, and post other thoughts in a different thread. My thoughts at least.

@Lostnotfound had a really complex story that is hard to grasp. She gave everything to raise her very troubled daughters, one of them abused her severely. While she was the victim of serious continious abuse, at the same time she was a loving parent that would give everything to save their children -- and couldn't live without them. She was torn and in torture. The situation had reached to more than a dozen court cases, police investigations over several counties (including police break ins etc), a team of lawyers and psychiatrists around her, criminal offenses committed against her, innumerous court orders, etc. She lost everything and everyone -- and was forced into hiding.

She was very resilient smart and caring despite debilitating PTSD, and constant emotional turmoils and breakdowns. I'm amazed she kept her head clear through this constant shit storm. She was scared of ending her life, but said she was determined and it's been a long time coming.

No point in being strong and keeping going as the end result will always be there same - Ive lost my family. So really is time to bite the bullet. Ive just got to find the courage to do it

She was between a rock and hard place. On the one hand she wanted to be exonerated by her daughter's false allegations; on the other she did not want police to pursue and jail her daughter. She kept saying she cannot harm her daughter, no matter what. She lost the most precious thing in her life (while being harassed, abused, jailed, etc). This was tragic and heartbreaking.

She refused to disown her till the very end -- shows what true love is ,and the strong bond parents have for their children. This one in particular is remarkable

I don't think anyone is celebrating her ctb here...It was a very sad situation n we ALL tried offering diff options, but to no avail, obvi..she felt really hopeless n saw no other way out..

I interacted with her a few times, but I wouldn't say I knew her. Sad to see her go, but her situation really was an impossible one. I think she did more than most people would, truly showing how strong she was. We will miss you, @Lostnotfound, may you rest in peace
