Help a tough question

hello everyone!

i have a bit of a grim request. can someone please talk me into not feeling guilty about what happens to my family and friends?

if i CTB, i want to do it was far away from civilisation as possible, but still, i'll never come back.

the guilt is only temporary anyway. For me it doesn't matter when i remember if i'm dead i wont be feeling anything, no guilt, and i dont have to see their reactions. remind yourself its not your problem anymore soon. Kinda mean but....idk, it is what it is

I can't move beyond the guilt myself to do it but, sometimes- I do try and reason it away.

As in- it isn't our fault we are in this position. Many of us would have chosen not to be born in the first place. So- it's actually someone else (our parents) who dumped us here, knowing how hard life was and how randomly bad things could happen- to begin with. Ironically, it's also them we are often most obligated to stay for.

Also, along the same theme- they were perfectly prepared to expose us to the pain of bereaving their death and others. Probably via natural death but- they had no way of knowing when that might strike. My Mum died when I was 3. So- there's a double standard to the whole thing. They've been willing to put us through the wringer but we're not allowed to consider doing the same. That simply isn't fair.
