i highly suggest checking out the song tomorrow is today by billy joel. i discovered it in 2020 due to my billy joel hyperfixation, and it's hidden gold. he wrote that as his suicide note after his girlfriend left him and his bandmate broke their band up. obviously it failed and i'm glad it did because what would the world be without classics like movin' out, piano man, and uptown girl? i attempted to it in 2020, the last time i attempted.
i made a playlist for the songs i want to CTB. sucks it has to be short since SN doesn't take long to kick in, music is my special interest so it is genuinely important what songs i hear last. the big one that i chose years ago is let it be by the beatles, i was known from elementary school to about sophomore year of high school as the kid obsessed with the beatles, i attempted to hang myself to that song once but i was a teenager with few resources so it didn't work.
anyway i suggest taking a listen to that song, probably one of the only songs that actually sounds realistic when it comes to suicide. comforting in a sad way
