As I lay my head on my cold pillow
My eyes shut almost immediately
Excited
Eager to imagine
All the ways I could end this madness


A deafening bang
Holding the trigger
Like I'd always prayed to be held
The sound of blood drips
Unrecognizable



A rough old rope
Swaying to and fro
My feet can't touch the floor
It'll be awhile before I am found
Purple


A slow waltz
Horn blows violently
Onlooker's screams sing me to sleep
So this is what fear feels like?
Split in two

Pills cascade and rattle down
A slow, warm embrace
Helps me to forget a life I no longer want nor need
