6 months.

In 6 months, it'll be the end for my girlfriend and I. And honestly, I'm feeling a bit sad.

Part of me is mourning the future we could've had. We'll never get married or adopt kids or live in a cute suburban neighborhood. Life wasn't fair to either of us and now we're paying the price. I'm really going to miss her once we're gone. I hope to god that if there's an afterlife, I'll be reconciled with her there. I can't imagine an existence where my girlfriend wasn't with me. It feels like she's the only one in the world that's ever loved me.

I want to die, and I want it to be with her. But I'm feeling guilt that she's going to be taken away from the people that care about her just for my selfishness. I'm not forcing her into it obviously, it was a mutual decision, but still.

Lots of things are making me feel hesitant about our end, but I'm going to go through with it.

Life really is so unfair. I'm sorry that things are so hopeless and you cannot have the life you want. I wish you the best with your plans and I hope you find the peace you are looking for.
