According to news sources today, Up to 500 patients each Week are dying in UK emergency care. The Archbishop of Canterbury rightly talks about the inadequate health / care system in the news today too, and although i dont subscribe to his god, i know too that divine intervention doesn't happen so unless our health system changes for better days, this human travesty continues, in part due to staff shortages and underfunding, many people who wanted to live but died.
And yet I feel persecuted because i wish assistance in dying when my illness makes my life unbearable.
I shouldn't expect anything less from a system that allows people to die, whilst persecuting the dying.
