I used to listen to the stream pretty often way back when, back when they were called ChilledCow and before they even adopted the Lofi Girl character. They used to use a gif from some Ghibli movie but got copyright striked over it.

Anyway, this one always stuck with me. I heard the first song in this EP on their stream. I find it particularly appealing because, unlike a lot of lofi hiphop, it actually incorporates rap into it. Still a good EP even if you don't like rap.

Linkin park has a special meaning to me since they were one the first rock bands I ever listened to.

I have quite a weird range when it comes to music, I go from Animals as Leaders to Lana del Rey in the same playlist. lol.

Unfortunately black metal doesn't click with me, maybe a few songs of Cradle of Filth (is it considered black metal?). My vibe is more prog stuff.

But I'm always up to try something new, thanks for sharing!

Cradle of Filth?... I guess you can call their 90s stuff "black metal" definitely nothing after the 90s though:

I do think DSBM is worth a shot tho. It's pretty different from vanilla BM, this production for example would be good for a new listener



But for the more raw underground (and real) I'd prefer this


Depressive black metal, at least to me, will always be the definitive suicide music that's the only reason why I mention any of this

It's more an early teens memories type o thing, and ever since Chester CTB along with Chris Cornell they started to hit different.
