What do you all think of 13 reasons why?
Did the suicide scene trigger you?

Can't wait to read your thoughts.

I liked the first season. And i love to rewatch the suicide scene. For some strange reason it makes me feel like… like Clay Jensen is talking about me (i won't slash my wrists but still). He is sounding so sad and compassionate. So yeah, this scene makes me feel good.

I did not enjoy the show. I thought it was cheesy and the characters were unbelievable.

I totally forgot about this show, thank you for reminding me of it!

Personally, I think it should've ended at season 1, it had a great ending with them in the car. S2 and s3 was unnecessary and dragged out.
Compared to other shows, the CTB scene was surprisingly really well-made! I think they got the mirror scene (when she's in her old clothes) spot on.
In my experience, that episode specifically was incredibly accurate at depicting the final day/s before suicide.

I don't think I've ever seen a show like this! It's such a shame there aren't more like it.

PS: The Gorey bit in the bath shouldn't have been cut out, It's what made the show REAL!
If the viewer doesn't want to watch it, then they can skip it, but don't ruin it for the rest of us!

i'm not sure i agree with you. it wasnt real because the blades she used were not suited for making cuts that deep. and she would have been bleeding for few hours before she could die.

Yeah, it scares me that teens may try ineffective and unsafe methods for suicide and bleed out for hours.

It was 10x realer than the scene without it, is what I meant.
And the blade she used would've been 100% sharp and strong enough to get it done. Why do you think it wouldn't be? And I really don't think cutting both arteries in your wrists takes a "few hours" to die from :/

I've only seen the first season but personally, I wasn't a fan. Everything seemed so repetitive and there was always something wrong (kind of like my life though haha). I wasn't triggered by the suicide scene at all.

I saw the first season and it was enough. It seemed that not even the actors themselves believed it completely and this makes the difference between good and bad series
