I have more than that. 10k is not a lot of money. Even a million is not. I would chose to have my memory wiped out over any amount of money. Only then would the pain stop and I might find some enjoyment in life.

Dude, I'd pay 500K+. Wouldn't use it willy-nilly. Just for a few key things that hurt me but serve no actual purpose/lesson, then throw it away.Assuming that forgetting the memories reverts me to a less painful state, the answer is easy for me. There will be no hope for me personally through external changes. I'm messed up bad psychologically with conditions I will always have unfortunately.
