How likely it is it ends my life, jumping from 10 stories?

I would hit concrete. I don't think I would land on my head. That would be so difficult.

If you landed with your head but look for something above 15. Have you considered the people who will clean it and also make sure you don't fall on anyone.

In theory, as long as your head hits the ground first and it's on concrete and not grass you should be fine. Be mindful of what time of the day you do it at. Doing it in broad daylight means more witnesses, meaning you'll be saved much more quickly. If you do it at night or early in the morning it may take longer for someone to notice, plus the ground will be less populated meaning you'll be less likely to hit someone on the way down

I think that it would be incredibly hard to jump at all, never mind head first.

10 stories is too short. Choose a more peaceful method. Can you get SN?

You could stand backwards on the balcony and let yourself fall in a posision where ypur head will get the ground. A streamer, Roro chan survived 15 stories and died 3 hours later in the hospital, but I don't think she hit her head on the ground, and she used her arms to try to stop herself from dying.

Depends on weight, specifics of landing, etc. Also I suppose how close an ambulance/hospital happens to be nearby?

That's the only part that worries me about jumping from 15 stories or lower. Isn't 15 the minimum recommendation? If I could find access I'd look for something much much higher than 15. I really don't want to survive and be left in agonizing pain (if I'm still conscious) for hours or days until my body finally dies from internal trauma. I honestly think jumping needs to be done from much more extreme heights so you can guarantee instant death on impact. I really hope that streamer wasn't conscious during the 3 hours it took to die

I'm with you on that. I have an 8 story building near, and apperently survival rate is low but hearing stories like hers scares me out of going for 8 stories. Also, I feel like I'd have to do something to stop my arms from interfearing.

For me its whatever. My bridge is about 12 stories. If height doesnt work I want to tie rope to the railing and the other end to my neck (2-3 m) just to make sure.
But my inner ear is broken and I can barely even get there
Whatever

Tying a rope should work. For me it's a library and there's a no backpack rule and it's not open at midnight, but a 13 story bridge with a noose should kill you and even if it doesn't you should pass out in like 10 seconds.

I would bloody think 10 stories is high enough. I've been in a hotel that high and sure as hell wouldn't fancy my chances landing on head or any other body part for that matter. Takes balls of steel too jump though.

I'd zip-tie my hands together to prevent flailing and dive hide first like a G. It'd take serious balls of steel though lol. Our natural survival instinct is to move our arms sporadically in the air to protect our head from impact and or find something to grab onto when we fall. It's quite interesting because babies have this survival instinct too. God why is it so hard to die from jumping? So much has to happen correctly for it to be instant

I'm telling yall
Hemp rope and long drop hanging off a bridge
It will rip your head off at the very least break your spine. No more worries about landing incorrectly.

I cant seem to force myself to go headfirst as well

You people are braver than me. Si is bitch as you may realise, you might need something to kick it alcohol for Dutch courage or some pills might work, since it is a public act as well to avoid being saved, you may go at night and dress in black. If you do change your mind. We are here for you. Bol

I think we're the same weight so 10 stories will probably work.
I can't tell you a specific percetange but I bet it's around 90%.

If I were considering 15 stories exactly, in a near-abandoned car park landing on concrete, would I still need to land headfirst for an instant CTB? I was considering falling backwards, would that work?

I would think that would work since your head would be one of the first things to touch the ground if you go backwards hut of you have a 15 story parking garage nearby, by all means go for it, just don't be found

By "don't be found" do you mean before or after jumping? How long would you estimate it takes to fully CTB once I've landed? My site is actually not far from a hospital, which makes me hesitate to try if there's a chance I don't die quickly/instantly.

To be honest it depends on the extent of the damage. If the internal and external trauma is not that bad you could theoretically be unconscious but still die minutes or hours later in the hospital. I've seen videos on bestgore of people jumping from heights much lower than 15 stories and they always tend to go sideways midair and hit their feet first and then head or the opposite. As soon as the head hits the ground they're instantly unconscious. As a safe bet, it should be done at a time and or place where you know you won't be found for a few hours at least (this includes trying not to be found just before jumping). You're trying to maximize the time it takes to be found and be saved, and lower your chances of survival
