Why do you feel that? Too depressed to enjoy them? There is quite a large variety out there if you know how to look. Have you ever liked any showsz movies, or games?

Anyways, with no further detail, all I can say is go sort through steam or itch.io's less popular games. Or since you haven't mentioned books, read books.

Because it's true. I see the same plotlines over and over done worse and worse.

Ghost in the shell, Everything Everywhere all at Once, and Paranoia Agent are good anime/movies.

As for games, Filthy Us might be interesting to you, although I'm not too sure if the english translation is good. I heard The Return of Obra Dinn is good, never played it myself. Maybe you would like the Thaumaturge?

I feel the same way about a lot of modern entertainment too, but hey, look at it this way. There will always be thousands of older games, movies, shows and anime for you to get into. I'm a fellow anime watcher, albeit casual. Do you use MAL? Lots of fantastic interest stacks to help you find lots of cool new shows based off the anime you already know you like. Letterboxd has this same feature for movies, though I personally avoid that website like the plague because I despise the social media aspects of it.

Idk maybe you can learn to enjoy bad things ironically. Or maybe get into over analyzing the things you already like from sites like TV Tropes. Then wallow in misery further when doing these things muddles your perspective on what's truly good and what's trash? Is this show trash because it doesn't do what I want it to do or is this particular actor's phoned-in performance actually a subtle cry for help and a deeper indication of some relatability in the medium? Or maybe the writers strike was looming and that's why this character forgot about that thing they could do. That's what I did anyway.

Besides, getting sick of stories just because they're the same is kind of missing the point. All stories are nearly the same when you get down to it, the point is to find the moments that still create genuine reactions whether because they're relatable or outrageous enough or maybe just pointless enough to make one feel grateful for the time wasted.

Get over the "back in my day music was better" lie and learn how to search the internet for stuff that's actually good (a mass abundance) instead of relying on the phone to tell you

It was better in the 2000s. Were you not there?

We have been over this once already, no it wasn't. Nor was it in the 1540s, a decade when we have archival evidence of some other dumbfuck claiming that "back in his day music was better". It's not getting worse, you're just too lazy to dig and are convinced that slop from your coming of age years is different. Slop is slop, regardless of how old or new it is.

Zero idea what that has to do with anything, other than it being a humorous visual of how I'm seen in any online setting. This neanderthalic drivel you give about the 2000s now is the same exact one people a decade ago gave about the 90s. Guess what? Those people being in their 20s didn't make a lick of fucking difference in the fact that Nirvana, Pearl Jam. and all of that hot garbage belongs in the trash. Neither does you being in your 20s to Nickelback and Papa Roach and all that other shit that should have remained in the toilet. This rhetoric is given by people who desire to have a superiority complex, but are too lazy to actually culture themselves, so they slap an age litmus test on art, rather than actually assessing if it's shit or not.
