I have a very unusual problem and I really do need some help. Zopiclone is a medication for insomnia similar to Zolpidem but with far more adverse reactions. It is a Z class med. I tried it but had a rather nasty reaction. Not long after I took half of the pill my mouth and throat began to swell, and speech was slurred. I reported this to the pharmacist and was asked if I had gone to the ER. Unfortunately I can no longer do that. I just said no, and was told that IF it had gotten worse I would not have been able to get help because I would not have been able to speak. As of today I know, without doubt that they have fixed on a diagnosis that is way off base, and no doctor will see me. I tried to get a lawyer but was informed that it was obvious I had a valid medical malpractice suit they would not take me on as a client....why? It takes 4 years to get it to court and they do not expect me to last longer than a year. As 1 lawyer put it "there is no money in it for us". Checkmate...maybe this should be in the discussion thread...sorry. There is no longer any doctor that I can go to...they will not accept me. Believe me I have tried. So, my question is this: If I took an overdose of this horrid drug would I be likely to die? Seems death is the only route I have left. Sorry folks I have never been depressed like this, and am not coping well. Thank you.
