Youtube doesnt alert me to some replies i get, sad and frustrating

Tldr
Yt only alerts me to things that are hurtful, hateful or stupid or that I dislike, never once do I get a notification for a sensitive, thoughtful or kind reply.

Youtube has played a part in ruining my life. (they will be frothing reading this the sick fucks)
This might sound dramatic but when you think about what can come from good conversations the opportunities are endless.

So youtube I have noticed so many replies over the years that would have made my day, given me opportunity to make friends and socialise, have interesting discussions with other people. But I guess this is another system designed to cause us pain and sadness, it's even destroyed good bonds by not alerting me so the person thinks you've ignored them or after 6 months their life has taken a different path.

YouTube cherry picks comments that aren't even directed at me, or replies that are horrible or silly, but never shows me the interesting ones.

I tried the settings several times but they don't have an effect.

The obvious answer is to quit the shit thing. So unfortunately I'll miss the content of some good people but the service is evil...
Does anyone else have this problem?
Manage to change it?
Or is it simply because I'm a targeted individual because the agencies are such corrupt sadistic scum.

i occasionally get a like or a reply, on YT, nothing much, plus all those adds drives me insane.

I don't get replies on youtube very often. But if I do it's usually a debate of some kind.

The thing is, I Do get nice replies but don't get alerted to them. But as you say when someone is trying to debate it tells me right away..
Also I've noticed some of my comments have made it to top comment with many thumbs up... But I'm not told about this either, but I get alerted whe I get a like on some comment I made on some stupid video years ago.

I found all social media to be depressing. It helped me some to delete it all or at least limit use. I just have a FB to follow local news.

Youtube's comment section is a cesspool. I actually find Reddit a healthier environment. People look down on reddit but most of the subreddits appreciate good quality or well mannered comments. Anything violent, rude, aggressive for no reason, etc gets downvoted to hell and so it doesn't happen often.

I'm kicking social media too. I don't touch instagram or reddit. I'm just doing it because I think social media is destroying my brain.

It's just annoying when people have gone to the effort of giving a thoughtful response and some people asking reasonable questions and youtube only alert you to rubbish. It's an evil program
