The problem is that Israel isn't just exercising its much-touted "right to self defense" when it
kills between 80 and 100 Palestinians at a school compound where 6000 displaced people were sheltering, while claiming that it bombed the compound in order to kill Hamas fighters. (That just happened.) The estimated Palestinian death toll is now around 40,000. I think it's probably higher. Who knows how many have been wounded. Hospitals and schools have been hit. Hospitals have no supplies and civilians have no food. Multi-story buildings have been bombed into dust while the residents were still inside. There are
credible reports of torture of civilian detainees at
detention centers. At some point this turned the corner from self defense into genocide, especially when you add in the treatment of Palestinians in the West Bank. The "2 state solution" is nothing more than a Western talking point, not an actual goal. It's clear that Israel wants all Palestinians gone from the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and is using the October 6th attack to achieve that goal. And Israel calls anyone who criticizes their actions "antisemitic".
It makes me nauseous.
