As hanging is by now my choice, I've watched a lot of hanging videos, both real and fake ones. In some death occurred quickly, and in others, the people seemed to suffer for minutes. Do you watch these videos too, and do they scare you and maybe make you rethink your choice?
I see comments like this from time to time where someone says they've seen hanging videos with people suffering for minutes.
However, whenever I look at hanging videos, this is almost never the case. The person almost always passes out within about 10 seconds.
You might be confusing the convulsive and rigidity stages with the person suffering. Those stages occur after the person has passed out already, and those are involuntary body movements. I.e. the person is not suffering, because they're unconscious.
When a person doesn't pass out quickly, it's usually because they grab onto something or the ligature is overly thick. But even in those cases, it often works, and even a thick ligature doesn't necessarily prevent passing out.
Fake videos are another problem. In my opinion, one good telltale sign is if the video is edited and either the legs or the head is not shown in parts of the video. If the person is shown from head to toe, it's less likely to be fake.
But one the other day, the guy tied to ceiling fan, then just this simple knot around his neck. He's holding it to begin with but nothing happens when he let it go. Seemed sort of fake but idk.
Could you post the link to this video? I'm curious. Someone doing full suspension and nothing happening seems very suspicious to me.
a woman's car breaks down. a man hangs her and fingers her pussy as she is hanging.

I think this was the video I was guided to. You can tell this is fake because all those videos are about naked women being hanged. Probably some guys get horny from watching that shit
This one is definitely fake. I mean, it's a porn video, and not a suicide attempt. The person in the noose isn't even trying to lose consciousness. They're doing it for their own pleasure, or putting on an act for others to watch.
Some are banging their legs or arms on things or try to catch air loudly
This can happen during the convulsive and rigidity stages. These can last up to about 2 minutes, or sometimes even longer, and the person is already unconscious during these stages. The body will try to gasp for air, which can create wheezing noises.
