Would You Consider My Method As Safe?

Hi guys,

If I dont manage to improve my life in the next few months I want to end my suffering. Like everyone else I would like to choose a method that is highly reliable.
As I am too scared of jumping from a bridge or in front of a train I have considered the following method:

I want to use an exit bag combined with sleeping pills in my car during cold winter. My plan is to drive to a place where no people can interrupt me, then I make the set-up for the exit bag and before pulling the oven bag over my face I take a huge amount of sleeping pills. As I worry that the exit bag method could fail, I would also leave the windows of my car open, in order to freeze to death. So if the exit bag fails, I hope that the sleeping pills keep me asleep and I freeze until dead.

1. Would you consider this plan as safe?
2. What are your concerns about this method?
3. Which sleeping pills would you advise? (Benzos, Trazodone, Mirtazapine, Quetiapine, Hydroxyzine...etc)?

I would like to hear your thoughts!

I'm thinking of something similar - lots of alcohol first, CO in tent or car, in outdoord in winter...

So if CO just knocks me out, the cold should finish me off.

I think sleeping tablets are a bit OTT, but I suppose no different to alcohol - although alcohol helps you to cool down faster.

If done properly I don't know why the exit won't kill you, i really hope it works for me i don't have a back plan if it fails.
I don't think it was advice to take sleeping pills with the exit bag, i think i read it in the PPH but not sure of the reason behind it, maybe another person can give you more details.

I like your idea. I personally like the idea of using two methods at the same time. I know there is more chance for something to go wrong. If done right though, I think it is better.

For comparison sake this is what I came up with for mine. I am going with a propranolol overdose timed correctly with I think a generator and a charcoal grill being used inside of a space. I am not sure what the space will be yet. Maybe rent a Sprinter type of van and drive somewhere nice?

I do not know about the exit bag? How successful it is when carried out, etc... I think involuntary thrashing around while unconscious is the biggest risk, aside from not having enough gas?

It is something prescribed for my tremors. It is used for treating a wide variety of other conditions though. It effects the circulatory system.

While I don't really think the methods mentioned by the OP will complicate each other, in general, I don't think it's a good idea to combine methods. You're right — it does increase the potential for something to go wrong.

I'm not very familiar with specifics regarding exit bag, so perhaps someone else has something to contribute regarding combining sleeping pills with the method.

I think it should happen very swiftly for me when the time comes. Backup to a backup, with another backup to the backup...

I will probably turn the generator off once it fills the space. I will have a CO ppm monitor on constant display during and while... Maybe I will pipe in the CO somehow from the outside and leave it running? The plan is still coming together for me.

You will not be able to. You will be dead. Or unconscious at least. I hope you see what I mean.

I have not fully thought this through yet. I believe this is how I want to do it though. I just need to work out the details at this point.

There's a strong chance that the sleeping pills could make you vomit. I imagine that vomiting into your exit bag might make you more likely to panic & remove the bag.
I found that once I had overdosed & was no longer in my conscious mind I phoned for help which I had no intention of doing while I was conscious/undrugged & no memory of doing afterwards.

I have no doubt that if I can somehow reach a phone I will do the same thing. My survival instinct runs the show. I'm very concerned about it. I know how formidable it is. I know what it's gotten me through.

I can imagine screaming or crawling or somehow finding a way, through superhuman means, to survive almost anyting.
