It seems like it would. I would have to make sure the earphones didn't disconnect though. That would suck so bad if the music were to cut out halfway down.

It might certainly help somewhat, either exciting music building up your adrenalin to jump, or relaxing music helping lower your anxiety. Or either kind just to lull you into a state where you are distracted from your hesitation. But I can't see any kind of music actually motivating you to die, unless it's something totally unbearable like rap...

I doubt you'd be able to hear much of it. I listen to music and podcasts while riding my bike and the wind blocks out a surprising amount of noise. And falling would move your body way faster than my bike with every second, so you would need to put the volume to the max and at that point I doubt that's too enjoyable. Let alone the fact that you won't be able to listen to the music for more than a few seconds. Additionally to that, while music can have an effect on your body, it would be nowhere near enough to overshadow something as a survival instinct.
To answer your question: It most certainly won't.

Omg why didn't i think of this ! This is a really good idea in my opinion. Next time I'll have music on (for sure Julien Baker) right before I drink the SN.
