I feel like other people/things create all kinds of obstacles that make it difficult to finally do the act. I don't think I'd have a issue doing it if I lived alone and could do it at ANY time that I wanted to. In fact, I think I'd be inclined to live longer knowing I could leave whenever I wanted without behind held back by others.

Definitely agree. If nobody were here beside me, I would do CTB anytime.
But I DON'T consider my lovely parents and boyfriend as an obstacle.

Yes I do. Having people here creates barriers that would disappear with them

Yes, living alone makes everything easier but I just can't do it for 2 reasons.

1) I don't want my family to find me dead in my apartment. They'll be traumatized.

2) I don't have neither the method nor the guts lol

I currently live alone, but not for too much longer. I want to ctb before I move out of here, but then somebody else (my family) will be left with the task of moving my things and selling my house. This dilemma is giving me a lot of stress.

I can agree, it's definitely problematic (it's an obstacle for me). Lack of privacy, issues with timing, overall living alone would be preferable.

This is true for me. i live alone and i plan for delayed email to police so family don't find me. No risk of being found so can do anytime i want, this eases some urgency in my desires. And in turn gives me a some control that i hope will aid a sense of peace when i am ready to ctb.
i appreciate how fortunate i am for this. i feel for those who have added pressures and worries when already in such a shit place. Shows all the more a need for society to shift their attitude on sucidal ideation and how they treat and support those of us making that choice. Everyone deserves a peaceful death, especially so if you are chosing to end your life.

Definitely, 100% would already be gone if I lived alone.

Yeah it would be a lot easier, having to plan it around when people won't be home for an acceptable length of time is a bit of a headache, especially since the person I live with works from home more due to the 'global situation'.
