In the movie Midnight in Paris Zelda tries to commit by attempting to drown herself in the Seine. However, gets stopped by the main character before she can get into the water.
Considering the Seine is so well known, and Paris is constantly filled with tourists, + the Seine typically has tour boats running through it, would it be realistic to pull that off without someone stopping you? Are there specific areas less likely for someone to stop you in? I've heard a lot about the bodies of murder victims being found in it while trying to research this so clearly people have managed to get already dead bodies into it undetected… I'm just not sure how easy it would be to go in alive and stay long enough to die.
If I were to attempt this I would weigh myself down somehow so once I was actually in the water it wouldn't be possible for anyone to see anything. But I still have doubts about so much as managing to get in without anyone noticing because of how popular of a tourist place it is.
I really don't want to switch locations because the Seine has a lot of emotional meaning attached to it for me because of my specific situation. I might have to decide on just doing it somewhere else in Paris but I'd really prefer not to have to change locations so I want to be really sure this isn't possible before I make that decision.
